The innovations in the MXL4 Series 4 cable locator:
- Simultaneous reception of 33, 131, 8 kHz and 640 Hz frequencies
- Automatic noise filter
- Indication in case of too fast oscillation
- Daily automatic self-test
- Warnings for cables less than 0.3m deep in the ground
- Highest swing is marked on the display
- Optional data recording of all finder activities
- No periodic calibration required
- All devices have the option to log locating data. Data readout is via USB or Bluetooth, depending on the model.
- Three years warranty
The C.Scope cable locator MXL4 has the depth measurement function. This requires the use of a transmitter.
The MXL4 achieves up to 5% accuracy in depth measurement. You have all the functions of a cable locator combined in this device. Optionally, you can also order a transmitter later for the depth measurement.
Depth measurement and signal current measurement
Underground cables can be identified quickly and accurately at the touch of a button (only with transmitter). Especially when several cables are close together, all cables transmit the signal of the transmitter. With the signal current measurement the cable can be identified (cable with the highest power).
Current mode (P)
Locate and trace underground power lines easily and efficiently, only with MXL4 locator.
Radio mode (R)
accurate and sensitive to locate other underground metal lines. Only with MXL4 locator.
Multi-frequency transmitter mode (T)
for receiving 33kHz, 131, 8 kHz and 640Hz signals from the MXT transmitter or a probe.
"ALL-SCAN" mode
monitors all frequencies from the lowest current signal up to 33 kHz inclusive. This novel all-in-one mode receives unusual frequency signals from cables and wires as well as signals from the conventional current, radio and transmitter modes. The "ALL-SCAN" mode can greatly speed up your search by searching for all signals simultaneously.
Depth measurement" function
Displays the depth of underground cables and wires at the touch of a button. With improved accuracy of up to 5%. Depth measurement requires the use of a transmitter, e.g. MXT.
Function "Signal current measurement
is a further development of the depth estimation. The MXL4 receiver can monitor the true strength of the MXT transmitter signal sent along an underground cable, regardless of its depth. Ideal for identifying the location of cable and wire networks (transmitter only).
Power supply
ensured by simple batteries available everywhere. Exceptional long operating time , MXL4 design provides space for a spare battery pack.
Clearly audible signal
from the speakers
No calibration required thanks to digital signal processing
