The Probst KSZ-300-UNI limestone clamp rationalizes the transport of sand-lime brick elements with the building construction crane in several respects. The sand-lime bricks do not have to be packed or strapped for this purpose. Since it grips continuously within its wide opening range and the picking up and setting down of the loads is purely mechanical, the tongs can be operated by just one person. Since it is made of fine-grained structural steel, it is very light despite its size and robustness.

Especially in the case of exposed masonry, it is of great importance that the building material is not contaminated during laying. For this reason, the gripping elements have been specially kept in a light color. The building materials are thus protected from unsightly streaks. In addition, care was taken to ensure that the building materials are also optimally protected during the intermediate steps, such as the retraction of the empty tongs over the building material package. For this reason, the gripping elements were equipped with two rows of rubber rails instead of one.

The protective net complies with the standards of the employers' liability insurance association. It is attached at four points and is also suitable for 625 mm high face blocks.
