Kroll universal oil burner KG/UB

With the Kroll universal oil burner type KG/UB you get a true all-rounder among oil burners; without special tools you can effortlessly choose between different oils as fuel in compliance with national standards. Thanks to smart design, you only need a few hand movements to set the right preheating temperature and combustion air-to-fuel ratio. Thus, in combination with a hot air heater, you can heat your large commercial or industrial spaces such as workshops, production halls or storage areas in the most economical and comfortable way. If your choice falls on vegetable oils, you receive a further advantage; the energetic density lies close to the values of fuel oil, besides, vegetable oils are CO2-neutral and contain no portions of sulfur or heavy metals.

• The main feature is that in principle mineral, vegetable and animal oils can be used as fuel.
• The respective burner settings for the fuels are made without special tools by means of preheating temperature and combustion air to fuel ratio.

Technology

The fuel is atomized by means of compressed air through relatively large nozzle diameters. This is particularly helpful in preventing clogging in the case of dirty or viscous oils. A separate delivery system draws your desired fuel from the storage tank, filters it and preheats it. The tank located on the burner ensures that there is a constant flow of fuel to the ignition electrode; this ensures constant and perfect combustion.

No matter whether you have a cast iron or steel burner chamber in your boiler, the additional use of our patented ZVP tube and a ceramic fiber plate ensures a so-called "hot combustion chamber". The patented ZVP pipe helps to lower the exhaust gas temperature, increase CO2 levels, reduce soot and extend the life of your burner.

Many commercial operations already have a compressor system in place; this can be used to supply compressed air. If this is not the case, you can use the specially adapted Kroll compressors to generate the compressed air needed to operate the burner. Boilers of newer or older construction can be effortlessly equipped or retrofitted with a universal oil burner. You can choose your preferred energy source at any time: Whether under economic or ecological aspects - with the KG/UB you always make the right decision.
