Most crank tripods are designed for use with rotating lasers. Laser scanners, however, place different demands on a crank tripod. Laser scanners are usually heavier than
rotating lasers. In addition, the use of laser scanners requires more frequent height adjustment of the tripod. To meet these special requirements, Nedo has developed the Industrial Line tripod series. Perfectly adapted to the use of laser scanners.

Nedo Industrial Line Shaft Tripod 1.12 m - 5.00 m
The new Industrial Line Shaft Tripod has been specially developed for the use of 3D laser scanners in shaft applications. In these applications, the 3D laser scanner is inserted into the shaft space from above through a shaft cover. A special highlight of the new Nedo shaft tripod is the toothed column, which can be extended almost at will. Additional toothed column
elements are inserted into the crank head and securely connected to the previously inserted tooth column element by means of an innovative locking device. An additional locking device prevents the toothed column from falling out of the crank head. The Industrial-Line crank stand is designed for heavy loads and features an indirect crank drive with reduction gearing, which makes it possible to move even heavy 3D laser scanners effortlessly. For even more convenient handling, a special cordless screwdriver is available, which is flanged to the shaft of the crank gear. The laser scanner can be positioned at the desired working height at the push of a button.

lockable rollers. When using the tripod trolley, the shaft diameter must not exceed approx. 95 cm. When the tripod legs are at the spreading stop and fully extended, the shaft diameter can be up to approx. 2.05 m.
